Who is the head of Mahavirai Dental and Medical Care?
The clinic is headed by Dr. Shipra Jain (BDS | MDS), an Endodontist. She leads every complex case personally and sets the clinical standards for the entire team.
What does Dr. Shipra Jain specialize in?
Dr. Jain's core specializations are root canal treatment (RCT), Re-RCT (retreatment of failed root canals), dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry including veneers and smile designing. Root canal treatment and Re-RCT are her specialty as an MDS Endodontist.
Why choose a specialist for a root canal instead of a general dentist?
An endodontist has years of additional specialty training focused entirely on root canal treatment. Combined with magnification, this means hidden canals get found, treatment succeeds more often, and teeth that would otherwise be extracted get saved.

Treatments
Is root canal treatment painful?
No. With modern anaesthesia and Dr. Jain's gentle technique, RCT is comfortable - many patients say it was easier than the toothache that brought them in. Most cases finish in a single sitting.
My root canal from another clinic failed. Can it be fixed?
Usually yes - Re-RCT (root canal retreatment) is Dr. Jain's particular specialty. Many teeth scheduled for extraction elsewhere can be saved. Get a second opinion before agreeing to lose the tooth.
Do you place dental implants?
Yes. We use premium, internationally proven implant systems with digital planning, and the complete cost (implant, abutment and crown) is explained in writing before treatment begins.
What cosmetic treatments do you offer?
Smile designing, direct and indirect veneers, teeth whitening, cosmetic tooth-coloured fillings and clear aligners (Invisalign). Every cosmetic case starts with a planned design you approve first.
Do you treat children?
Yes - specialized kids dentistry is one of our core services, with a patient, play-based approach for first visits and anxious children.

What are your fees?
Fees depend on the treatment and are always explained in full before anything begins - a complete written estimate, no surprises. We are competitive for the quality of specialist care provided.
What safety and sterilization standards do you follow?
We maintain stringent sterilization and hygiene protocols for every instrument and every patient, every time.
Can I get treatment if I'm pregnant or on blood thinners?
In most cases yes, with appropriate precautions. Dr. Jain regularly treats medically complex patients - tell us your full history and we will plan safely.
Do you offer lab tests?
